Finestrina

Complete realization of custom interior elements for a commercial space, including wall cladding, seating, wardrobe area, and service counter.

The interior fit-out of the Finestrina restaurant included the complete realization of custom-made interior elements.

The project features a palisander veneer screen with a brass frame, inlaid with glass formed into a radius, as well as a visible brass structure for the wardrobe area. Custom-made seating elements were produced with upholstery combining two types of fabrics for increased durability, mounted on cold-rolled steel bases with an anti-corrosion finish and exposed handle joints.

Walls are clad in profiled lacquered MDF for enhanced durability, complemented by stainless steel skirting matching the wall cladding. Hidden service access doors are integrated into the cladding of the refrigerated counter. A portal with flush doors follows the profiling of the wall cladding; the lacquered MDF door leaves are fitted with inserted oval glass panels, partially frosted, installed flush with the door surface using glazing beads.

The scope also included ceiling cladding above the refrigerated counter, storage unit carcasses and visible surfaces, and lacquered MDF shelves mounted on a concealed shelving system with integrated adjustable lighting. Interior doors and frames in a lacquered finish were supplied according to the provided reference, along with cladding of the service counter made from profiled MDF.

The main challenges of the project were coordination during installation with other contractors, a tight production and installation schedule, and the manufacture of custom elements based solely on drawings, without the possibility of on-site measurements prior to production.
